The Senior Club "Dalgoletie"

Senior Club "Dalgoletie" in Vetren dol was found in the year of 2006.
Its name "Dalgoletie" in Bulgarian means Longevity.
The present chairman of the senior club is Veneta Yankova. About 60 people - pensioners from Vetren dol, are members of the club. Every month these people celebrate their birthdays in a hall in "Kultura" Reading room.
"Dalgoletie" keeps folk costumes, songs and dances, and uses them on celebrations. In this way they preserve national folklore. When celebrating birthdays, the birthday people get presents and everybody is invited to take part on the celebration.
Another interesting thing pensioners in Vetren dol have added to their activities is organizing excursions around Bulgaria and abroad. Some places they have already visited are Perperikon, Thasos island, Xanthi, Istanbul and other exciting destinations.
